  • Citizen Science for Tri-Sector Response – Participatory Citizen Sentiment Crowdsourcing Study in Geneva

Soul Probe partnered with Edgelands Institute, a pop-up institute incubated at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard university, to understand the perception of digital surveillance and security and their impact on social contracts by the residents in Geneva. In the spirit of community-based participatory research (CBPR), the study revealed 3 clusters of opinions or tribes and 5 issues that were highly divisive that warranted greater public discourse and consensus-building in society. Based on the crowdsourced feedback, we put together a list of 19 detailed recommendations under 9 high-level broad recommendations themes. The published article can be found here. The full report can be downloaded here. We received praise and recognition on the tool from our strategic partner, Founder of Edgelands Institute, Yves Daccord here.
